Senior Copywriter

I joined Babbel in 2022 as the first copywriter in their New York office. Since then, I’ve:

  • Served as the creative lead for all things copy: TVC, CRM, product, email, website, print, and affiliate copy
  • Scripted hundreds of paid and organic social videos
  • Taken a leading role creating the Babbel Tone of Voice and storytelling strategy for our recent rebrand
  • Penned scripts for Babbel’s 2023 and 2024 TV campaigns.

I work with a diverse creative team and collaborate daily with designers, writers, videographers, marketers, translators, engineers, in-house content creators, and affiliate influencers.

In 2023, when the Babbel US office took on all marketing responsibilities for Canada and Latin America, my role expanded to cover four different languages and the entire Western Hemisphere.

During my time there, Babbel has exploded: US annual revenue has nearly doubled, and our social media presence has ballooned from 500k to over 2M followers across platforms.

New paid social creative has yielded a 30% reduction in cost-per-lead and a 15% increase in high-value Lifetime subscriptions. Recent focus testing found my 2024 TVC outperformed benchmarks for brand appeal, likeability, and behavior change by 10%. My 2023 TVC is a consistent top performer based on response rate and cost per new user.
